We recommend having an RSVP date of no less than 6 weeks out from your wedding day. Depending on your requirements, please allow no less than 4 weeks for design and printing.

items required and quantities and we can bring it to life.

Once the quote is approved and the custom design fee has been paid, we will make a start on the design to align with the look and feel of your overall styling.

Unfortunately no, we do not supply/offer digital files of your designs.
The only exception is large format signage for our overseas clients.

The designs on this site are owned by Ivory & Noir and we maintain full legal ownership. Under no circumstances may they be reproduced without our consent.

When ordering online, full payment is required before work commences on your artwork and emailed through to you for approval.

PAYMENT

AUSTRALIAN CUSTOMERS; Orders are shipped through Australia Post and charged at a flat rate of $20 for boxed invitation orders and a flat rate of $30 for large format signage.

Tracking details are supplied with all packages.

Ivory & Noir is located in Sunbury, Victoria and also offer client pickup.

We do not provide shipping for large format signage. These are only offered as digital files for the client to print locally.
International shipments are subject to duties and taxes determined by the country to which we are shipping, and will be assessed by your local customs bureau.

Ivory & Noir is unable to offer information regarding importation fees, and strongly encourages you to inquire with your local customs bureau for information prior to placing an order. These fees are the sole responsibility of the customer, and will not be represented when providing you with shipping rates. Local taxes payable on our products are also the responsibility of the customer.

Ivory & Noir cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage in transit once the order has been dispatched. We will take the utmost of care to ensure appropriate packaging and delivery methods are used.

A design proof will be emailed within 2 business days of receiving your order/payment and wording. Once your design has been approved for print, please allow 3-4 weeks for completion of printing and assembling.
Orders made during peak season can take longer. Please allow up to 6 weeks for completion.

Timeframes are only an indication and are dependent on the print method chosen.

Timeframes apply to printing/assembling only. Allow added time for shipping.

We will communicate with you from the start if your delivery date cannot be met. It is your responsibility to reply to emails/design proofs in a timely manner. If you are slow in providing feedback on content and approvals, this will result in your order being delayed and we cannot guarantee delivery will be met within the specified timeframe. 

To avoid stress, it is advised to order your invitations 8-12 weeks in advance of your mail-out date.

timing & completion

Your order is confirmed once payment has been made. Wording for your invitation, including wishing well and details card, can be sent via email after your order has been placed. You will be asked to supply your guest list template (found on our website) after you have approved your artwork proof so that we can include it into the invitations and envelopes.
Make sure all spelling and details are supplied correctly as we will use this exactly as it has been provided to us.

Please note, printing/assembling times will commence once the template has been received.

SUPPLYING YOUR WORDING

Your approval in writing via email acts as final approval as they appear in the digital proof. It is your responsibility to carefully proof all artwork, check for spelling errors or other details. If errors are found within the text after approval of the digital proof, Ivory & Noir will amend the design and the customer will be responsible for the re-printing of the printed material at a discounted rate of the original cost.

Thoroughly check your proofs for;
Spelling and grammar
Dates
Contact details - names, phone numbers, email address, website links

If final prints do not match the designed content represented in the final digital proof that has been approved, we will offer a reprint of the order free of charge and prioritise this as soon as possible to rectify our error.

The design stage entitles you to 3 rounds of changes. If additional changes are required, this may incur extra design fees, billed at $44 per round.

Ivory & Noir is a service based business, all our products are made to order and once we have received your order and payment the work commences.
Therefore, we do not offer refunds. Please choose carefully when ordering.

We do encourage you to purchase our sample pack before placing an order so you can see the quality of our products and designs. You are also welcome to book an appointment to visit our studio to go through paper and finishing choices.

Our sample packs provide you with colour swatches of our most popular stocks for invitations and envelopes. Sample invitations are also included to show different print methods and quality of our work.
No sample requests can be made. Cost of pack is $22 including shipping. No tracking provided.

The ‘Hire Company’ is Ivory & Noir
The ‘Client’ refers to any individual, couple or company hiring items from the ‘Hire Company’ who has made a hire booking.
The ‘Item/s’ refers to all hire items listed on our ‘Hire’ page supplied to the ‘Client’

definitions

HIRE TERMS

The customer agrees to have read, understood and acknowledged all the terms and conditions listed below and by making payment of the hire agreement, agrees to all clauses in this document.

conditions of hire

To secure the item/s for booking, full payment needs to be made at the time of booking via our online hire shop. Item/s are hired over a 6-7 day period, they are collected on a Wednesday/Thursday and must be returned by the following Tuesday.
Ivory & Noir is located in Sunbury and operates by appointment only. In order to collect/return hiring item/s you will need to arrange a time with the Hire Company via email.

booking hire items

For everyday the item/s are not returned by the due date outlined in the above, a fee of $50 per day will be charged to the client.

late returns

The Hire Company may withhold security bond money as they see fit to damages made to hire items, upon their return.

damaged hire items

Once item/s have been collected, the client holds all responsibilities and liabilities relating to the agreed item/s whilst in their possession until they have been returned back to the Hire Company.

insurance

In no way shall the Hire Company be held responsible or accountable for any injury, death or loss of income caused to the client, guests, staff at venues or any third parties or properties due to the hire item/s provided by the Hire Company.

disclaimer

The client may cancel their hire item/s at any time, but acknowledges they will forfeit the hire fee payment already made to the Hire Company due to the limited quantities and availability of our items.
